Nicole C. Wilson Featured In NSPE Publication

SHARE THE NEWS:

EARTHRES Technical Manager – Air Quality, Nicole C. Wilson, P.E., is featured in the Winter 2021 issue of the National Society for Professional Engineers (NSPE) monthly publication PE Magazine. The article, “Leading for All the Right Reasons,” is a feature outlining the shift toward women taking on leadership roles in the NSPE, especially in the Pennsylvania society.

The article states that women account for 11% of all professional engineers, up from just 1% in 1960.  The society has seen a shift of women taking state and national leadership positions in the society and the workforce at large since the late 1990s.  As Vice President of the primarily female Executive Board of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE) Southeast Region, Nicole has seen this shift first hand.  Nicole states, “Having women leaders in the profession provides great role models.  It’s been one of the best things I have done career-wise, other than getting my PE license and my job.”
